Today, Peterborough Public Health issued a warning following an increase in suspected drug poisonings.
On Thursday, January 26, Peterborough Public Health detected a high number of drug poisonings that occurred over the last 24 hours in Peterborough City/County. A total of 5 drug-related poisonings were responded to by 911 first responders. This is presumed to be the result of 3 different opioid products that are blue in colour and one white in colour that is being mistaken for crack cocaine....
