Road Rehabilitation of County Road 37 (Lakehurst Road)
Please be advised that the County of Peterborough is proceeding with road rehabilitation works on Lakehurst Road (County Road 37), from 400 metres south of Fire Route 70 to 700 metres west of Allen’s Road, in the Municipality of Trent Lakes. Work will consist of culvert replacements, ditching, asphalt removal and replacement, partially paved shoulders, and new pavement markings.

Many residents have seen an increase in the presence of Gypsy Moths.

No fireworks
This Victoria Day long weekend we’d like to remind residents and visitors that the setting off of fireworks is not permitted at anytime over the weekend. This is in accordance with By-law B2019-103 regardless of whether they are being sold at local stores or not.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and the recent extension to the Stay-At-Home-Order, the Environment Day Event planned for June 2 has unfortunately been suspended.
