On May 21st, 2024, Trent Lakes Council approved By-law B2024-039, a By-law for Planning Services and Tariff of Fee's related to the processing of Planning Applications and other Related Planning Matters.
This By-law outlines the increase for all planning fee's associated with planning applications and services as well introducing new planning service fees. Municipal Staff brought forth a report to Council on May 7th which provided in great detail staffs involvement and contributions to each planning application and services offered. This report was Peer Reviewed by Watson & Associates who concluded that the increase to fee's recommended by staff was reasonable.
