Public Works maintains 298.2 kilometres of roadway within the Municipality of Trent Lakes.

Surface Composition of Roads

176.59 kilometres of our roads are surface treated;

105.35 kilometres of our roads are gravel surface;

16.26 kilometres of our roads are paved.

Many of our municipal roads receive maintenance year-round. There are some municipal roads that receive maintenance seasonally.

Many private roads are maintained through their associations. Maintenance is typically provided by private contractors.

All roads within the Municipality of Trent Lakes are maintained in accordance with the Provincial Minimum Maintenance Standards (Regulation 239/02, as amended).
