For your safety and enjoyment, please abide by these rules while visiting our beaches:

  • Pets are not permitted.
  • No fires or charcoal barbeques, only CSA Approved propane barbeques.
  • Fireworks are not permitted.
  • Tents are not permitted.
  • No camping or temporary shelter permitted at any time.
  • Motorized boats are not permitted to launch.
  • No littering. Please put trash in the bins provided or take it back home with you.
  • Parking may only be done in designated zones.

Beach water testing

The water at our beaches is tested by Peterborough Public Health. If the water is unsafe or closed due to E. Coli levels, signs are posted to inform the public. For more information and for water test results, please visit Peterborough Public Health
