Trent Lakes Fire Rescue’s Mission is to Educate, Prevent, Protect and Respect our Community and Environment through response, with a highly trained team of professional and dedicated individuals.

Trent Lakes Fire Rescue consists of four fire stations. Our service area consists of 861 square kms. We have 50 volunteers who are supported by a fulltime Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, Fire Administrative Assistant, Fire Prevention Inspector, and Training Coordinator.

What we do

We respond to calls for fires (structural and open air), fire alarm activations, carbon monoxide alarms, motor vehicle accidents, rescues, emergency medical assistance, and natural disasters.

We are also responsible for the enforcement of:

Ontario Fire Code
Fire Protection and Prevention Act
Municipal by-laws
Fire control activities

Fire Station Locations

Your insurance company may ask you the distance from your home to the closest fire hall. You can find this information on Google Maps or Peterborough County Maps
