ICE STORM UPDATE - April 2, 2025, 11 a.m.
Widespread power outages persist across all of our area, and numerous roads remain impassable due to fallen trees and downed power lines. Trent Lakes Public Works, Hydro One, Peterborough County Public Works, and emergency services have been working diligently.
“Crews continue to work diligently to bring power back to our area and clear debris. With diverse weather conditions expected later today and tomorrow that includes snow, freezing rain and rain, we encourage our residents to avoid travel unless necessary, and to check on our neighbours. Thank you to all of our community members and volunteers that have come together to support each other during this event,” says Mayor Terry Lambshead.
