ICE STORM UPDATE - April 7, 2025
Over the weekend, hydro workers have been working hard to restore power to the County and will continue until power is restored to all homes.
In Trent Lakes, we are focused on ensuring residents have locations to drop off their brush and are monitoring flood levels.
Residents can continue to drop off their brush at the following locations:
• New 49 Public Works Depot, 110 County Rd 49, Trent Lakes, K0M 1A0
• County of Peterborough Public Works Yard, 2467 County Road 36, Trent Lakes, ON K0L 1J0.
• Fire Access Road parking lot just off of County Road 507.
Residents can continue to fill sandbags at the following locations:
• Buckhorn Yard Depot, 8 Melody Bay Road, Buckhorn.
• New 49 Public Works Depot, 110 County Rd 49, Trent Lakes.
Flood monitoring
Kawartha Conservations has issued a flood watch until April 7.
Otonabee Conservation has issued a flood warning as of April 4.
