If you’re looking for ways to get out into the community and enjoy some programs or events, you have come to the right place!
In Trent Lakes, there is something for everyone. Check out what our community has to offer below.
Library Programs and Services
Trent Lakes has two library branches. Each library has programs for all ages so you can discover, learn and explore. All programs are free and are filled on a first come, first served basis.
Visit the Library Programs page.

Municipal Community Centres
Each of the three municipal community centres have a Hall Board that offers events and activities throughout the year.
Previous events have included group potlucks, hot stone yoga, group exercise, improv, musical concerts and more.
Visit our Community Centres page to find each website for more information.
Oak Shores Community Centre

Buckhorn Community Centre
The Buckhorn Community Centre is a privately owned centre that offers events and programs to support our growing and diverse community. From sports and fitness to social activities, we’re sure you’ll find something for everyone.
Most of their activities run year-round while others are time-limited and run at specific times of the year. Check the calendar often to see if the event or activity you are looking for is available. Sometimes activities are cancelled during large Signature Events at the Buckhorn Community Centre.

Youth Performing Arts
Since 2023, there has been a youth performing arts improvisation program for Trent Lakes youth. The program is offered out of the Lakehurst Community Hall.
An outdoor armourstone amphitheatre is soon to be under construction at the Lakehurst Community Hall, which should be completed by the end of 2025. The theatre will offer an outdoor space for this program and new ones to come!
If you are interested in learning more about the program, contact Trent Lakes Recreation Association at 705 772-2132 or by emailing TrentLakesRA@gmail.com.
