Trent Lakes Local Bruce Averill Recognized for Leadership in Arts and Culture

During the Peterborough County Community Recognition Awards last evening, Trent Lakes Mayor Terry Lambshead had the pleasure of presenting resident Bruce Averill with an award for Leadership in Arts and Culture.
In 2023, Bruce Averill developed a youth performing arts improvisation program for Trent Lakes youth. The program is offered out of the Lakehurst Community Hall and serves the youth of Trent Lakes.

Save the date!
There will be two Special Council Meetings held to provide an informative presentation on the STRA program and answer frequently asked questions. The same information will be presented at each meeting.

Thursday, June 13, 2024, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Notice of Public Meeting: Flood Plain Mapping Study

Kawartha Conservation is working to complete a flood plain study for Miskwaa Ziibi and Nogies Creek in Trent Lakes.
A public information session, hosted by Kawartha Conservation in partnership with the Municipality of Trent Lakes, will be held to present the draft flood plain mapping results, including the draft regulated flood lines, and receive feedback on the information presented.

The Municipal office will be closed for Victoria Day on Monday, May 20, 2024, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
All Transfer Stations will be operating holiday hours from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
