Load restrictions are in effect on all Municipal roads starting March 1 until May 1, 2024.
During load restrictions there is a maximum of five tonnes per axle. Vehicles exceeding the five tonne per axle load restriction must take alternate routes. Vehicles exceeding the maximum load size on a posted road will be subject to penalties described in the Highway Traffic Act.

The 2017 Buckhorn Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is a planning and economic development framework that includes financial incentive programs designed to stimulate private sector improvements and development in the Buckhorn Community Improvement Project Area.
