Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries

The Municipality of Trent Lakes and Trent Lakes Fire Rescue would like to remind citizens that Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2:00 A.M. Also it is a good time to change the batteries and test (push the button) on all carbon monoxide and smoke alarms in your residence, cottage and trailer to ensure they are in proper working condition. On Saturday night, remember to set clocks forward one hour when you go to bed.

Family Day Hours

The Trent Lakes Municipal Office will be closed on Monday, February 21, 2022.  All Waste Sites will be closed on Family Day as per the normally scheduled Winter hours of operation. Council and staff wish everyone a Safe and Happy Family Day.

Peterborough Public Health Issues Sixth Frostbite Alert of the Season

Curve Lake and Hiawatha First Nations

Peterborough Public Health has issued its sixth frostbite alert of the season as wind chill values are forecast to drop below -27°C from 10:00 p.m. tonight (Friday, January 28) and last at least until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, Saturday, January 29.
