Please be advised that Peterborough Public Health will be closed on Thursday, September 30th for the Day of Truth and Reconciliation including their laboratory.
Water test sampling bottles will not be accepted for drop-off at the Municipal office Thursday, September 30th. The tests are time sensitive and the closer would spoil the test samples.
The regular schedule for dropping off the bottles will return to normal after September 30th.
Note: Water sample bottles will also not be accepted...

Peterborough Public Health has advised the following regarding Trent Lakes public beaches and if they can be open.
Public beaches in Trent Lakes are allowed to be open to the public with social distancing measures in place. This includes when swimming or playing in the water or at the shoreline. Please be sure to follow all guidelines so that these outdoor recreation areas can remain open.

Gannon’s Narrows Bridge
Please be advised that repairs to damaged structure components at the Gannon’s Narrows Bridge located on County Road 16 will be commencing on June 7 to June 30, 2021.
During this period, the bridge will be completely closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and reopened to traffic at night and on weekends.

The Province announced today that the Stay-at-Home Order and province-wide shutdown will continue until at least June 2, 2021.
Peterborough Public Health has advised we are starting to see COVID-19 cases and indicators slowly trend downwards, which is such good news!
