Fire Burn Permits required – but they’re FREE!

If you have opted to have a bonfire for the evening, even a small one to toast marshmallows and cook wieners, you do need a burn permit.  Make sure that in advance, you've obtained a FREE online burn permit from the Trent Lakes website to do ANY open air burning. Victoria Day Office Hours

The Municipality of Trent Lakes will be closed on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 for Victoria Day. Normal business hours will resume after Victoria Day.

All Waste Transfer Sites will be open on Victoria Day Monday and will operate on Sunday hours. (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

Council and staff wish everyone a safe and Happy Victoria Day Holiday.

Victoria Day - No fireworks permitted

No fireworks

This Victoria Day long weekend we’d like to remind residents and visitors that the setting off of fireworks is not permitted at anytime over the weekend. This is in accordance with By-law B2019-103 regardless of whether they are being sold at local stores or not.

There are prescribed periods in a calendar year that the setting off of fireworks is permitted but NOT the Victoria Day long holiday weekend. Please check the by-law for the permitted times of the year....
