Construction Notice for County Road 503 Commencing August 18, 2023

Notice by Peterborough County:

County Road 503 from Kinmount to Haliburton County Boundary, to Furnace Falls Bridge will have daily lane restrictions to facilitate drilling of boreholes for the 2023 Geotechnical Investigation program.

Estimated start time: August 18 at 7 a.m.
Estimated end time: August 19 at 5 p.m.

Burn Ban Lifted July 11, 2023 at 6 p.m.

As of 6 p.m. today (July 11, 2023), the MNRF Restricted Fire Zone for Trent Lakes and Trent Lakes Municipal Burn Ban will be lifted.

Please note there is still no daytime burning between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. All burn permits will be reinstated and anyone requiring a burn permit can apply for one on our website.

The current Fire Danger Index is HIGH. Please continue to use caution when burning.

Construction Notice for Nogies Creek Bridge Commencing July 3, 2023

Please be advised that County Road 36 at the Nogies Creek Bridge will be reduced to a single traffic lane controlled by traffic signals, for the duration of the rehabilitation works of approximately eighteen (18) weeks, commencing July 3, 2023.
