Trent Lakes Municipal Council is accepting applications for the position of Fence-Viewer.

Fence-Viewers - 4 Vacancies

Term of Appointment: Term of Council (Term ending November 14th, 2026)

Purpose: Fence-Viewers are appointed pursuant to the Line Fences Act to carry out the provisions of this Act. Fence Viewers are paid $80.00 per site visit and mileage at the prevailing municipal rate.

Key Qualifications: Appointees will have relevant experience in line fence viewing, fence construction, property law, or surveying. Fence-Viewers may be required to access remote areas on rural properties, must hold a valid "G" driver's license, and be willing to sign a Code of Conduct.
