Change Your Clocks - and Your Batteries This Sunday!

When does daylight saving time end?
Daylight saving time 2024 will come to an end on November 3. Clocks will roll back one hour starting at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 3.

Update your clocks
Most smart devices like cell phones and laptops will automatically correct the time. Have a clock you need to manually change? We suggest turning it one hour back before you go to sleep this Saturday night, so it will be on the right time when you wake up Sunday morning!

Don’t forget to change your alarm batteries!
With the time change, Trent Lakes Fire Rescue recommends that residents not only change their clocks, but also the batteries in all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in their home.

In order for your alarms to work efficiently, the batteries should be replaced at least once per year.
