Local Residents Call Provincial Booking Line for Vaccinations

Peterborough Public Health announced that starting Monday, May 3 local residents can start calling the provincial call centre at 1-833-943-3900 to book COVID-19 vaccination appointments as the local call centre winds down.

“Transitioning vaccine booking to the provincial vaccine booking call centre will streamline the process for Peterborough area residents as we already use the provincial online booking system,” said Dr. Rosana Salvaterra, Medical Officer of Health. “We are grateful for the City’s generous use of its emergency information line during the pandemic, and for the wonderful staff from the City and County of Peterborough who helped thousands of local residents book their vaccination appointments since it opened on March 15.”

The provincial call centre line will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days per week. Eligible residents can also continue to book online 24/7 by visiting www.ontario.ca/bookvaccine.
