Drinking Water Supply Systems

The Municipality of Trent Lakes owns and operates drinking water systems. One system is in Buckhorn Lake Estates and the other is in Alpine Village/Pirates Glen.

Ontario Clean Water Agency

We have contracted the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) to maintain and manage the drinking water systems. OCWA performs routine:

• Maintenance
• Water testing
• Repairs

Water conservation

We ask all residents to help maintain water levels by following watering regulations from April 30 to October 31. By following these regulations, you can help conserve water and protect the water system. For more information on watering regulations, see our Water Regulations By-law.
