Canada Day Hours

The Municipality of Trent Lakes will be closed on Thursday July 1st, 2021 for Canada Day.

Normal business hours with limited access due to COVID restrictions will resume after Canada Day.

All Waste Transfer Sites will also be closed on Canada Day.

Regular scheduled hours will resume after Canada Day. Please refer to your waste pass for the regular hours of operations and locations or the Transfer Stations webpage.

Fireworks

Fireworks are permitted between 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Canada Day and the weekend (Friday to Sunday evenings) directly preceding it and following it in accordance with Fireworks By-Law B2019-103. You cannot set off any fireworks in, on or onto any building, highway, sidewalk, Municipally owned park or Municipally owned property, including beaches.

While we hope you enjoy your celebrations we request you continue to exercise Public Health measures to protect you, your loved ones and our community. Remember to respect private property and to clean up after yourself. Please do not litter in our beautiful community.
